El Paso, The Dirty Dozen, Clean Fifteen and more

Well, we're finally getting settled in here in El Paso, TX.  It was a long 4 day drive down here from WA State and it took another 8 days for our stuff to be delivered via U-Haul's U-Box Pod.  It was a pretty sweet set up though, I will definitely ship that way again.  I am learning the area and the stores and trying to find the best places to buy produce and of course coupon.

Unfortunately, here in El Paso, Organic produce is a lot harder to come by!  There is a Sprouts Farmer's Market about 30 minutes from us.  Albertson's has a couple of Organic items, but nothing like in WA.  As much as I would like to do more Organic foods, it doesn't look like it's going to be feasible here.  So, except for the EWG's "Dirty Dozen", I will be buying regular produce.  Get more information here.

They also have an app for your phone that you can download, which is great because I have a horrible memory.

Needless to say the last couple of weeks I haven't eaten as well as I'd like to.  Definitely feeling it!  I'm so ready to get back on my mostly Whole Foods diet.  So, starting today I am back on it and ready to get back on track.  I don't have a scale yet, so I'm not really keeping track of weight at this point.

There are a couple of co-ops I'm going to look into down here, the first is Bountiful Baskets and the other is Azure Standard.

Can't wait to see what fun and adventure El Paso brings us :)
